Well, hello.

L Smith Publishing is me, mostly.

I’m an old Aussie woman who likes books, good ideas, and seeing what happens when you put the two together. One book somehow became another, then another, and before I knew it I had a publishing company. This was not part of any sensible long-term plan.

There are no fancy offices here. No boardroom. No team of terribly important people discussing market trends. There’s me, a computer, several cups of tea and more ideas than is probably useful.

I like books that have a reason to exist. They might teach you something, make you laugh, get you thinking, or just keep you happily occupied for a while. I’m not particularly interested in making them sound more important than they are. I just want them to be good.
